Goddess of Tapasya, Discipline and Inner Strength

Mantra:
“ॐ देवी ब्रह्मचारिण्यै नमः”

Ayurvedic Principle of the Day

Day 2 represents tapasya and discipline, where food intake is minimal, mindful and Agni-supportive.

Diet should:

  • Be Laghu (light) and easy to digest
  • Avoid Pitta aggravation in warmer climate
  • Support detoxification without drying the body
  • Nourish Ojas gently

Vedic Diet Plan (Day 2)

Early Morning (Empty Stomach)

  • Warm water infused with a few dhania (coriander) seeds

or

  • Plain warm water with a few drops of lemon 1 spoon of organic raw honey

Post Prayers

  • 5 soaked and peeled almonds
  • 5 soaked black munakka
  • 2 walnuts

Supports Ojas formation while keeping digestion light

Mid-Morning

  • Fresh coconut water

or

  • Light fennel (saunf) infusion with mint and dhage wali mishri 2 green cardamom

Balances Pitta and maintains hydration

Lunch (Main Meal)

  • Rajgira (amaranth) khichadi with:
  • Zucchini and a small portion of lauki
  • Mild spices: jeera, black pepper, rock salt

Evening

  • Dandelion root tea with 2 green cardamom
  • Small serving of:
  • Yellow raspberries (a small bunch daily – supports gentle liver detox and is seasonally appropriate till March end)

or

  • Pomegranate

or

  • Small elaichi banana with a light drizzle of honey

Dinner (Light and Early)

  • Clear vegetable broth with zucchini

or

  • Thin rajgira khichadi with vegetables like zucchini , ghiya , orange carrots add A2 Gir cow ghee

Strictly Avoid

  • Tea and coffee (drying and aggravate Vata)
  • Curd and heavy dairy
  • Fried vrat foods
  • Excess potatoes and starch
  • Packaged fasting foods
  • Cold, refrigerated or reheated meals
